Edmund Crispin

Pseudonym of Robert Bruce Montgomery (1921-1978), English author, composer, and musician.

Crispin wrote 9 full-length mystery novels and published 2 books of short stories, all of which star the eccentric, irrepressible and eloquent Gervase Fen, a professor of English literature at Oxford.
